Summary
During the peak of the COVID-19 crisis, Basera partnered with APTN to deliver emergency relief to transgender persons across Uttar Pradesh. The project provided food kits, hygiene supplies, and financial assistance to those excluded from mainstream relief efforts. It also documented the pandemic’s impact on gender-diverse communities and advocated for inclusive recovery policies.
