Summary
Basera is implementing a TI project in Gautam Budh Nagar to reduce HIV transmission among 700 individuals, including 500 FSWs and 200 MSMs. The project delivers:
- STI/HIV awareness and condom distribution
- Screening, counselling, and referrals via ICTC/ART centers
- Peer education and staff training
- Community mobilization and health camps
- Stakeholder engagement and advocacy
Upcoming efforts include outreach to non-catchment areas, SHG formation, and awareness campaigns with UPSACS and local hospitals.
