Our community is often spoken about, but rarely asked. We want transgender persons and people living with HIV to know their rights, speak for themselves and lead the work that affects their lives.
- Legal aid sessions with lawyers on the Transgender Persons Act, the HIV/AIDS Act and free legal aid
- Help with the transgender identity card, from filling the form to following up
- Leadership training for second-line community leaders
- Financial literacy sessions on savings, bank accounts and planning money
- Community Sabhas and support groups, where members solve problems together
- A Community Advisory Board, where community members sit with health workers, officials and police
