About This Service
Good health care should not depend on who you are. Yet many transgender persons, people living with HIV, sex workers and MSM stay away from hospitals because of the way they have been treated there. Our health work starts by bringing care closer, through people from the community whom they already trust.
- HIV and syphilis testing, in the field and at health camps
- Help to start HIV treatment, stay on it, and get viral load tests on time
- Screening and referrals for TB, STIs, blood pressure and diabetes
- Counselling on HIV, sexual health, mental health and treatment
- Referrals for gender-affirming care to doctors who will treat people with respect
- Care for pregnant women living with HIV and testing for their babies
- Condoms and information on safer sex
