Good work in the field needs a strong organisation behind it. Rebuild is a five-year grant that helps Basera grow stronger on the inside: our team, our rules, and the way we run things day to day.

Most grants pay for specific activities. This one is different. It gives us the freedom to invest in what keeps the whole organisation going, such as:

Training our team in teamwork, leadership, communication and managing programmes well
Writing and updating our policies, so that everyone knows the rules and every decision is fair and transparent
Building this website, so that more people can learn about our work and reach us easily
Improving our office and admin systems, so that our projects run smoothly

So far, our team has completed organisation development training, and five key policies are now in force, including our HR, Finance, POSH and HIV confidentiality policies.

A stronger Basera means better and longer-lasting support for the communities we serve.
