About Basera:

Basera Samajik Sansthan(BSS) is a community-based organization with its registered number 914 under the Uttar Pradesh NGO Registry ACT. Founded in 2006, BSS is a non-governmental organization operating its intervention in Delhi NCR and Uttar Pradesh.

Our organization focus on protecting and expanding the rights of LGBTQ Individuals, most notably advocating for Transgender rights, anti-discrimination and hate crimes legislation, Documenting and reporting on Gender Base Violence and HIV/AIDS advocacy and treatment support.

In line with the philosophy, We strongly believe that the engagement of communities most affected by HIV and other co-morbidities in Programme and policy designing, planning implementing, and monitoring is the only answer to community-inclusive programs.

About the Project:

Project “Care and Support Centre 2.0” (CSC 2.0) under the Grant Fund Grant Cycle 7, Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT) has been awarded the role of Non-Government Principal Recipient (NGPR) to implement the Care and Support Centre 2.0 (CSC 2.0) for People Living with HIV across 15 states of India from April 2024 to March 2027.

Under HLFPPT, the Sub Recipient (SR), Uttar Pradesh Welfare for People Living with HIV/AIDS Society (UPNP plus) has been selected to provide hand-holding support to the Global Fund-supported CSCs in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

We Basera Samajik Sansthan granted a Sub-Sub-Recipient (SSR) by the  UPNP+ to implement the Care and Support Centre in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
